You will be accountable for sales of B&R Automation, Robotics & Discrete Automation Machine Automation in Roswell, Georgia, driving sales volumes and margins. B&R offers an excellent opportunity to work for an international company with a great working environment. We offer extensive B&R product and sales training and we will guide you step by step as you enter into your role at B&R.

This position reports to

Regional Manager, SouthEast

Your responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas for the Territory
  • Grow sales of B&R's complete product range in the Territory by finding, developing and winning new accounts and opportunities
  • Promote and sell B&R products and engineering capabilities
  • Build the sales funnel and create a strategy for prospecting, lead follow up and networking activities
  • Develop new accounts and expand existing customer base through exceptional sales support
  • Build relationships with upper management at all top accounts
  • Develop, own and execute the sales strategy including at Strategic Accounts within the Territory
  • Build relationships with upper management at all Top Accounts
  • Own the Forecasting and Business Plan for your Territory
  • Identify, define and develop the best technical solution for customer applications
  • Lead in depth technical presentations and discussions with the customers
  • Help manage local projects and engineering activities
  • Develop market intelligence and utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to track and manage opportunities
  • Work with the Marketing and Business Development teams to maximize sales efforts
  • Attend events such as trade shows or industry meetings to prospect opportunities and to represent B&R at these shows
  • Attend yearly sales meetings and workshops
  • Additional duties as assigned
Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business or related discipline and minimum 2 years of directly related experience
  • Experience with a CRM tool, such as Salesforce
  • Technical understanding and experience with machine controls, motion controls, vision and/or robotics
  • Customer facing at least 50 percent within territory (Georgia) and some international travel
  • Valid driver's license and passport is required
  • Hunter mind set in uncovering and generating new opportunities
  • Experience in managing all stages of a funnel
  • Proactive, Self starter mentality
  • Ability to leverage and drive channel for mutual success
  • Ability to build rapport and strong relationships with customers and partners
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
