Job title: SAP Lead FP&A architect

Work location: Irving, TX / The Woodlands, TX / Atlanta, GA / Richmond VA / Columbus OH(Candidate must be willing to work in a hybrid work environment, ready to work from the office for at least 2-3 days a week. It is not a fully remote job.)

Current need:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FP&A solution Architect with technical experience across multiple Enterprise Profitability Management (EPM) systems focusing on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to join our team. In this role, you will drive the technology modernization of an existing, customized-for-purpose set of solutions that are being replaced with cloud-based capabilities utilizing SAP Analytics Cloud. This role also focuses on planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, consolidations and reconciliations. You will collaborate closely with clients, senior business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand requirements, design solutions, configure systems, and deliver successful implementations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance, accounting, and EPM systems, along with expertise in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting and consolidation processes.

Keys skills & Job responsibilities:

  • Expert level knowledge of Cloud, SaaS solutions and managing SAC Tennants.
  • Collaborating with clients and senior business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting and consolidation needs.
  • Deep understanding of planning processes, including Sales/ Cost of Sales Planning, Workforce Planning, Capital Expense Planning, Project Planning, or OpEx Planning.
  • Designing and constructing end-to-end SAC solutions that meet client requirements, leveraging industry best practices and the capabilities of SAC application in a highly complex integrated IT landscape.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as data integration specialists, business intelligence developers, and infrastructure teams, to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting principles, along with expertise in EPM processes and methodologies and proven experience as an EPM Systems Implementation Expert and Solution Architect.
  • Expert level knowledge of at least one of the SAP data warehousing solutions like SAP BW/4HANA or SAP HANA (esp. HANA Cloud or HANA 2.0) for both modelling and scripting including ability to write complex stored procedures. High level knowledge of various replication methods to HANA or BW.
  • Oversee the design of the data architecture and the technical architecture for the old-fashion and modern data platforms, including data acquisition and integration, data modelling, transformation and quality processes, master data management, data warehousing and data marts, data lakehouse, data fabric and data mesh.
  • Staying updated with the latest advancements in EPM software platforms and emerging technologies related to planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting and consolidation.
  • Providing guidance and support to the end-users during system adoption, including training, user documentation, and ongoing support.
  • Developing and documenting functional and technical specifications, including system designs, data models, process flows, and security requirements.
  • Subject matter expertise in SAP COPA and related modules.
  • Uses best practices to design high performing UI/ UX reporting tools.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Expert hands-on knowledge of BPC embedded, HANA modelling, SAP Datasphere (Data Warehouse Cloud - DWC), ABAP, and Fox coding.
  • SAP Certified professional
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile Methodology

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as an FP&A Solution Architect, including 5 years as SAP FP&A Solutions Architect
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent communication and ability to work with collaboration and interpersonal skills and cross-functional teams as well as interact with senior leaders and stakeholders

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$140,400 - $234,000
