Job title: Lead SAP FP&A Business System Analyst

Work location: Irving, TX / The Woodlands, TX / Atlanta, GA / Richmond VA / Columbus OH(Candidate must be willing to work in a hybrid work environment, ready to work from the office for at least 2-3 days a week. It is not a fully remote job.)

Current need:

McKesson Technologies is looking for a Lead FP&A Business System Analyst. In this role, you will be a primary liaison between the finance and technology communities. This is a critical role as we drive rationalization, design and adoption of strategic SAP Enterprise Profitability Management (EPM) tools across the enterprise. The successful Lead FP&A Business Systems Analyst will have deep knowledge of Finance and accounting processes, deep experience leveraging SAP EPM tools (primarily SAC) and build strong cross functional, cross business unit relationships to become a trusted and collaborative partner for our business teams.

Keys skills & Job responsibilities:

  • Deep understanding of planning processes, including Sales/ Cost of Sales Planning, Workforce Planning, Capital Expense Planning, Project Planning, or Operating Expense Planning.
  • Liaises between the finance and technology community.
  • Drives adoption and supports business users' use of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) by understanding the business process and how SAC enables the business.
  • Facilitates process and system improvement opportunities and implements enhancements and changes to support finance process and reporting requirements.
  • Leads FP&A enhancement/modernization projects in SAP SAC/BPC module in a highly complex and integrated IT landscape.
  • Gathers requirements, generate conceptual design, configure/prototype solution alternatives, author functional specifications, and implement these solutions in the integrated SAP environment.
  • Uses Collaborative and consultative skills to translate and bridge business requirements to systems developers to design, build, test and deploy Budgeting, planning and forecasting process and reporting across Business Units and corporate functions.
  • Has worked on one or more full implementation(s) of SAP SAC.
  • Builds robust profitability reporting using COPA.
  • Experience delivering with outsourced off-shore teams.
  • Collaborates across SAP teams as well as with 3rd party applications/vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain business relationships and customer service skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, resolve challenges and drive action in collaboration with internal & external cross-functional teams.
  • Provides knowledge transfer to operations and support and to business users.
  • Provides Early Life Support for Releases Placed in Production

Desired certifications:

  • SAP Certified professional
  • Certified in Agile Methodology

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with SAP Finance solutions, including:
    • 5+ years with SAC and/ or BPC
    • 2+ years with SAC
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent communication and ability to work with collaboration and interpersonal skills and cross-functional teams as well as interact with senior leaders and stakeholders.

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$121,900 - $203,100
