Position Summary:

Direct Supply is building the future of healthcare technology with industry-leading products, solutions and platforms to help improve the lives of millions of seniors and those who care for them.

In the Project Manager II - Technology position, you'll be responsible to lead multiple technology projects from inception through delivery. These projects, involving multiple Technology and business teams and stakeholders, focus on custom software development initiatives or deployment of third party solutions. The successful project deliverables support internal teams and external customers, and are core to our business continuity and success. As a member of the project management community of practice, you also support the adoption and improvement of project management practices in the technology organization.

Competencies & Skills Needed:

  • Effectively define, plan, and successfully execute, evaluate, risk-manage, rollout and close out assigned projects. Engage stakeholders, align and coordinate resources, and support the team to successfully execute and deliver the project.

  • Champion Innovation - Seek out and adopt innovative approaches and tech-enabled solutions to create value and transform work; anticipate the impact of new technologies and make adjustments.

  • Leverage Data & Business Insight - Draw insights from data to inform the work and make data-driven decisions; Apply business, financial, industry, and functional knowledge to propose plans, make decisions, and advance goals.

  • Drives Accountability & Results - Deliver quality outcomes and business results individually, with the team and the stakeholders. Set clear expectations and ensure follow through. Communicate effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Demonstrate the ability to define and design data-driven requirements, at times in collaboration with an analyst, using design thinking techniques such as user research, workflow/process analysis, prototyping, usability testing, and pertinent metrics.

  • Advanced understanding of project management concepts from the Project Management Body of Knowledge Guide.

  • Solid working knowledge of Agile Development concepts.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Plan and manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, resources, procurement, communication, and tracking of project results for up to five highly visible projects across various Technology teams.

  • Collaborate with the project team to plan and coordinate activities, define deliverables, requirements and timeframes, track progress on projects, and remove or give visibility to roadblocks.

  • Address challenges as they arise, understanding technology issues and guide the team in making effective decisions.

  • Communicate project status, risks and problems to all stakeholders. Propose solutions and implement with support of project sponsors.

  • Manage changes to projects and communicate the impact to a project's scope, schedule and cost.

  • Combine your subject matter expertise on agile frameworks such as SCRUM or Kanban with your project management skills to deliver the best outcomes with cross-functional project teams.

  • Help project teams adopt and excel at agile development methodologies and tools.

  • Introduce innovative ideas that bring maturity to project planning, execution, reporting and portfolio management at Direct Supply.

  • Contribute to alignment of Project Management practices with technology and business objectives.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field

  • 5+ years of project management experience

  • Experience in delivering in a highly matrixed environment.

Additional Items of Interest:

  • Experience with business analysis.

  • SCRUM Master certification or Product Owner experience

  • Project Management Certificate Preferred

  • Experience with Target Process.

  • Experience with AI-powered solution projects.
