ABOUT THE ROLE

Take an exciting step in your career by joining a dynamic Marketing & Communications team supporting a rapidly growing global professional services firm. We are looking for a talented and motivated communications professional with creative story-telling abilities and a keen understanding of different media channels to tell these stories. In this newly created role, you will take the lead on a wide range of external and internal communications initiatives. Help lead the development of thought leadership and marketing materials that will enhance the firm's brand, highlight our experts' knowledge and skills, and resonate with our target audiences. Shape important employee engagement initiatives to celebrate the firm's distinct culture and foster connections with colleagues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, craft, and edit content, including written copy, graphics, video scripts, and other marketing assets for the firm's website, email campaigns, social media, and other communication channels and outlets
  • Support the planning and execution of the firm's evolving content marketing strategy
  • Write, draft, and proofread marketing collateral, presentations, qualifications statements, and other sales enablement materials
  • Oversee the development of case studies and serve as the point person for a new firmwide experience database
  • Post website content and support the overall maintenance of the website
  • Work with business development and marketing team colleagues to source success stories from across the firm for promotion
  • Provide editorial support for Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and employee communications initiatives
  • Provide coordination, content, and promotional support for conferences, sponsorships, speaking engagements, and internal events
  • Manage the day-to-day upkeep and oversight of the firm's intranet. Ensures consistent updating of general news and content and maintains the quality, accuracy, timeliness, and appropriate frequency of posts
  • Support the development and implementation of measurement tools to collect, analyze and report firmwide engagement with intranet content
  • Ensure marketing materials and content follow brand guidelines for language, messaging, and tone, versioning between UK and US spelling where required


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of experience; experience in a legal or professional services firm a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related area of study
  • Experience developing content strategies and marketing assets across a wide range of marketing channels and formats
  • Must possess excellent writing and editing skills, including the ability to draft compelling, eye-catching headlines, copy, and social media postings
  • Must possess a high level of organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously manage many diverse projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Must possess attention to detail and demonstrate a consistent level of accuracy in written communications, and the ability to balance multiple projects and have strong time management skills

SALARY RANGE

$80,000 - $100,000
